Hi, I'm Gabby Logan and I am supporting Persil's Dirt Is Good Weekends.

Spending time with the family is so important to me and there's no better way to spend quality time with my son and daughter than by having a good old family day out.

Since I had my son and daughter, it's been harder to find time to get out of the house with the whole family. But now they are a little bit older I am keen to get out in the fresh air and enjoy some more quality time playing, interacting and learning with my family.

Outdoor play, experimenting and having new experiences is so important for kids of all ages and as a mother of two I am definitely keen to get involved in Persil Dirt Is Good Weekends to give them those opportunities.

Sometimes it's so hard to know what to do with the kids at the weekend and more often that not we end up not enjoying our day to the full and spend a lot of time indoors. But thanks to Persil's Dirt Is Good Weekends we now have a whole list of events and activities we can get involved in which includes The Kent County Fair, The World Snail Racing Championships, The World Egg Throwing Championships, The All Sports Event and The Rare Breeds Show. There's definitely something for everyone.

I am particularly keen on the World Snail Racing Championships, I think it will be a lot of fun and very much enjoyed by my son who loves creepy crawlies. It's a fun way to bring nature to life and get involved in something different and I know Persil will tackle any stains from the day!

That's why on 21st May I will be launching Persil's Dirt Is Good Weekends to encourage the family to get together have fun, learn and get dirty together.

So whatever age your kids are, get together and spend the weekend as a family trying something new, getting involved and getting dirty.
