Modern Fabrics

When washing microfibres such as Tactel, sort them according to their colour and how dirty they are. See the care label on the garment for the best way to wash your light fabrics (generally separately on a low temperature and a low agitation programme).

For Cupro ™ and Tencel ™, using a fabric conditioner, such as Comfort, reduces creasing and maintains the appearance of the fabric.

Trimmings:

Trimmings on garments can affect how they are washed or which product is used. For example, if a garment has a leather collar the care label may say ‘Dry Clean Only’ even if the rest of the garment is washable.

  1. I have always used Persil,I have gone from powder to tablets and now use both.
My washing is always white and the colours do not fade.A big tip never iron your washing and you will never ever have to.exceptions are linen and rayon but all else workes.
It will only work on things that have never been ironed.
I always use Persil, spin at 1400 and don’t overload my machine, when machine finishes put into tumble dryer for about 5 minutes or until they feel warm.Hang on your line pull into shape. All my jumpers etc I hang on hangers on the line I’ve even done suits. Why not try it if it does’nt work for you there is always the iron again
